It's tough for Australia to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

This is the squad that has won seven Cricket World Cups, plus another six T20 titles, and once went 1,294 days without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the achievement hunters, are what's still available for a side that has won it all.

The fact it required until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a compliment to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over five decades.

She achieved fifty in 35 deliveries - her swiftest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 deliveries while she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three sixes.

Once she was out her side required another 66 at run per delivery - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the belief to achieve that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, if we do, we believe we can achieve it."

That comment will be the ultimate thing Australia's opponents at this World Cup should hear.

Over the past five days a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this triumph following victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.

It was at that stage they exited last year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - an encounter Healy couldn't play because of torn tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the first time at a major tournament.

So great is her will, she subsequently stated she wished she had played despite the injury.

Yet even as she later admitted those fitness problems have postponed thoughts of retirement, this tournament is likely to be her concluding event as leader in one-day cricket and she is still to achieve an international tournament as captain.

Success in India would lead her to the peak of her ultimate challenge.
